Can you believe Kendall is 4? We cannot and apparently neither can she. A friend at her birthday asked how old she was and she couldn't come up with an answer. When the friend said aren't you 4 Kendall started laughing and siad No!
Kendall started 4 yr. preschool this year and is doing great! She had some tears the first week, but now I hardly even get a hug goodbye. She goes in the room by herself and never looks back! She has matured so much just in the last month and is just doing fantastic!
He did great! I loved his wispy, curly hair but it had started to look a bit like a mullett! Thankfully, there is a little curl left in the back and he looks adorable!
Here are a couple of pics of the last hot days of summer in Michigan. Kendall was hilarious in her boots and bathing suit. She did a little modeling session for us!
The boys are now one!! They are completey different in every way as you can see in these pictures. Looks, personalities, size and even what foods they like! As you can see here Noah LOVED the cake and Andrew HATED the cake!
We had the boys christened at our house by James' Uncle Mike who is a pastor out in Arizona. We truly appreciate Mike and Aunt Cindy coming out to share this special day with us. It was a beautiful day and we got to have all of our Michigan family and friends (and Mimi and Papa Gary) share the day with us. After the christening we also celebrated the boys' 1st birthday.
Kendall loves being with all of her friends. The top two are with Mia and Lanie playing outside in the pool and sprinkler. THey had to take a break to wash their car! The bottom one a pic of our visit to Carrie Lindley Pruitt's house. Kendall loved playing with Mary and Elizabeth.
James and I went to Montreal for our 9th wedding anniversary. What a cool city! We got a much needed break from life and got to sleep in 3 mornings in a row!!!
We took our first family vacation and went to Chicago. James' mom and her husband went with us to help with the kids and they were wonderful! James had to work a bit on Saturday so grandma and papa kept the boys while mom and Kendall went to American Girl. Oh boy, was Kendall in heaven?!? We went to Millenium Park (playing in the water), the aquarium, Rainforest Cafe (where we meet up with Darren Brown and his family) and went swimming in the hotel. Overall it was a great trip...do wish the boys would have slept a little better but, oh well!
Erin and I took all the kids to a petting farm on Memorial Day while the hubbies played golf. It was a beautiful day and we just walked around and had a picnic. Everyone is getting so big!
