James and Ash in Montreal

James and I went to Montreal for our 9th wedding anniversary. What a cool city! We got a much needed break from life and got to sleep in 3 mornings in a row!!!

We took our first family vacation and went to Chicago. James' mom and her husband went with us to help with the kids and they were wonderful! James had to work a bit on Saturday so grandma and papa kept the boys while mom and Kendall went to American Girl. Oh boy, was Kendall in heaven?!? We went to Millenium Park (playing in the water), the aquarium, Rainforest Cafe (where we meet up with Darren Brown and his family) and went swimming in the hotel. Overall it was a great trip...do wish the boys would have slept a little better but, oh well!

Who knew playing in the weeds could be this much fun??!? Mia, Kendall and Lanie had a great time doing who knows what!

More Memorial Day 2009

Erin and I took all the kids to a petting farm on Memorial Day while the hubbies played golf. It was a beautiful day and we just walked around and had a picnic. Everyone is getting so big!

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

Kendall and Mia had their first "sleepover" at Mia's house. They did great and really Kendall only stayed until about 11 when mom decided to go home and go to bed.
